ALKALINE — 15 Stages
Our O-dobi mineral pearls were developed after years of research to create naturally alkaline, better-tasting water—without electronics. Each pearl’s ceramic shell contains pure magnesium and calcium that slowly release to elevate pH and enrich every glass.
- O-dobi mineral pearls alkalize and gently add minerals (magnesium & calcium) for a crisp, refreshing taste.
- Helps form micro-clusters in water for a smoother mouthfeel and easier mixing with beverages.
- Hydrogen infusion created naturally during mineral contact—no electricity required.
- Remineralizes, alkalizes & polishes the water—resulting in softer, sweeter, more delicious drinking water.
- All-natural media — no electronic ionizers, resins, or harsh additives.
KDF & CARBON
The KDF-55 and premium activated carbon work together to target chlorine, tastes/odors, and a wide range of water-soluble contaminants. This multi-stage block is engineered for clean, great-tasting water with reliable performance.
KDF-55 (Redox Media)
- Designed to reduce free chlorine and water-soluble heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium).
- Helps control scale, bacteria, and algae through redox action.
- Stabilizes upstream media for consistent downstream polishing.
Premium Activated Carbon
- Adsorbs chlorine, VOCs, pesticides, and common chemical by-products for a cleaner taste.
- High-activity carbon with large internal surface area for efficient polishing.
- Improves clarity and removes lingering odors.
Flow Path
- Pre-screening & sediment capture to protect media.
- KDF redox for targeted contaminant reduction.
- Granular & block-carbon polishing for taste, odor, and chemical reduction.
Taste & Performance Benefits
- Smoother, cleaner-tasting water—ideal for drinking, coffee, and tea.
- Consistent flow with low maintenance.
- Engineered to complement the Alkaline & RED-D™ stages.
Install Your ALKACT Countertop Water System
Clean, balanced, chemical-free water — no drilling required. Plug-and-go setup with secure, leak-resistant fittings and quick cartridge swaps.
- Shut off water. Identify the cold-water line at the faucet.
- Attach the diverter/adapter to your faucet spout. Use the included adapter if needed.
- Connect the hose to the ALKACT unit; turn the fitting clockwise until snug.
- Place the unit on the counter near the sink with the spout positioned over the basin.
- Turn on cold water and flip the diverter to feed the ALKACT.
- Check all connections; tighten gently if you see any drips.
- Flush briefly. Initial gray tint is normal (carbon release) and clears quickly.

FAQs
Answers about installation, what’s inside the filter, performance, everyday use, and upkeep for the ALKACT Countertop Water System.
Do I need to drill or plumb anything?
No drilling and no under-sink work. ALKACT sits on your countertop and connects to your faucet with a simple diverter.
What makes ALKACT different from small faucet filters?
A full-size, triple-action filter combines activated carbon, an alkaline mineral blend, and the RED-D™ stage for bacteria reduction—something most compact filters don’t target.
How long does setup take and what’s included?
Most people are up and running in 5–10 minutes. You’ll get the unit, faucet diverter, tubing, and common adapters. No special tools required.
Will it fit my faucet?
It connects to most standard aerator-style faucets (M22/M24). If you have a specialty or pull-down sprayer, you may need a brand-specific adapter.
What’s inside the filter?
One integrated triple action filter featuring:
- Premium Activated Carbon – targets chlorine, VOCs, tastes/odors, and trace chemicals.
- Alkaline Mineral Blend – naturally elevates pH (no electronics).
- RED-D™ Stage – engineered to reduce residual bacteria
How often do I replace the filter?
About every 12 months for typical households. Heavier use or challenging water may shorten this interval.
Does ALKACT remove bacteria?
Yes—the built-in RED-D™ stage is specifically designed to reduce a range of residual bacteria conventional filters often miss. Actual performance varies with local water quality.
What about fluoride?
ALKACT focuses on chlorine, VOCs, tastes/odors, and residual bacteria. It is not rated as a dedicated fluoride filter. If fluoride reduction is critical, ask us about options designed for that purpose.
Will the pH or TDS change?
The mineral stage raises pH into an alkaline range (exact value depends on source water). TDS may rise slightly due to beneficial minerals—this is normal and not an indicator of contamination.
Can I use ALKACT with well water?
Yes, provided turbidity/iron are not excessive. On very hard or sediment-heavy wells, pre-filtration is recommended and filter life may be shorter.
Do I use hot or cold water?
Use cold water only through the filter. Hot water can damage filtration media.
Is it okay for pets and cooking?
Yes—people love it for drinking, coffee/tea, and cooking. Many customers use it for pets as well.
Any maintenance tips?
Keep the unit upright, don’t freeze, and flush for 3–5 minutes when first installed or after extended non-use. Replace the filter annually.
Where is ALKACT made?
Designed, assembled, and tested in the USA using FDA/NSF-grade materials.
What’s the warranty?
Covered by a limited manufacturer warranty on materials and workmanship. Contact support for policy details and assistance.
Performance statements describe reduction where applicable and will vary with source water chemistry, pressure, and maintenance.
